Required Skills

  • CNC Lathe Programming & Setup Capabilities (and Operate)

  • Ability to receive a blueprint, material and “unproven” program (no setup sheets / work instructions) and develop a "First Piece" part complete for inspection

  • Good work ethic (timely, focused, “hard working”)

  • Good attention to detail

  • Minimum 5 years of experience

  • Blueprint comprehension (ASME Y14.5 and GD&T Knowledge and understanding)

  • Minimum High School degree or equivalent required

Preferred Skills

  • NIMS Certification for "CNC Lathe 2" (or other equivalent)

  • OKUMA (OSP) Control Panel familiarity

  • Familiarity with Setting Up “Sub-Spindles” and “Bar Feeders”

  • Familiarity with “Live Tooling”

  • Familiarity with “Y-axis

Position Details

  • First Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm

    • * Possibly Training short term Schedule 

  • Starting Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (depending on experience)

  • Mandatory Initial and Random Drug (and alcohol) testing required (this is paid for by Arcas Machine)

  • First performance review will be at 90 days and following reviews will be annual

  • Uniforms are provided to all employees

  • Safety toe (Steel toed) boots are provided once per year to all employees

  • After 90 days, insurances (health, dental, vision & life) are offered to employee

  • After 6 months, 401K Retirement Plans are offered to employee
