Responsibilities (Job Description, Duties, Functions)

Setup and operate CNC Mill(s): Receive program and material, select tools, produce complete part (corresponding mill operations only, if lathe operations are also required)
Will be supported by Programmer and CNC Operator(s)
Able to make edits to Programs on an as needed basis

Required Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience
Good work ethic (timely, focused, “hard working”)
Good attention to detail
Blueprint comprehension (ASME Y14.5 and GD&T Knowledge and understanding)
Minimum High School degree or equivalent required

Preferred Skills

5 or more years of CNC Mill Setup experience
Aerospace / Defense parts experience / knowledge (tight dimensions, high quality, 32 or better surface finishes, etc.)
Okuma (Okuma Controls) Mill experience
Experience with 5-Axis Machining
NIMS Certification(s)
Shop Foreman experience

Position Details

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Compensation Range: $25 - $30 hourly
Mandatory Initial and Random Drug (and alcohol) testing required (this is paid for by Arcas Machine)
First performance review will be at 90 days and following reviews will be annual
Uniforms are provided to all employees
Safety toe (Steel toed) boots are provided once per year to all employees
After 90 days, insurances (health, dental, vision & life) are offered to employee
After 6 months, 401K Retirement Plans are offered to employee
